Ahead of the anticipated release of the Alien Power System Predator V4R (an Electric Skateboard), we had the chance to speak to Lewis Taylor, a professional Long Boarder from the Lakes who was one of the first people to try out the new electric skateboard.
Long Board ProRider Lewis Taylor takes on Predator V4R – Lewis is 29 and started skateboarding when he was 11. Eight years later, after mastering the skill, he went on to longboarding where he began a successful career travelling coast to coast across the UK and competing across Europe in Romania, Spain and Italy.
During Lewis’ career, he has had the opportunity to try out a few electric skateboards on the market… most recently the Predator V4R, made by Alien Power System.
After Long Board ProRider Lewis Taylor takes on Predator V4R, he commented, “I really liked the board, it was super quick, turns well, feels nice under the feet and I was really impressed with the weight”.
“When comparing it to other boards, I found it a lot more compact. You can push the board as well so I still got the feeling of longboarding but you can pick up the speed a lot quicker”.
Alien Electronic Ltd is a UK company that has always had an interest in electric mobility, after several years of research and developing products for the radio control and electric vehicle market, they now have the knowledge and skill to design and build full electric vehicles.
After years of customer feedback, they created the Predator V4R, which has been extensively tested to ensure a user safety electric skateboard with top-class components. The V4R uses composite, metal and aerospace materials to help make the difference in the look, weight and handling of the board. The ride experience is balanced and the components of the board mix well to compromise between performance and comfort.
The coolest, most innovative, powerful, high spec electric longboard. The edge of technology.
